HEBA Braai Broodjies
Some people would say that a Braai Broodjie is a toasted sandwich. But it's so much more than that! Crispy bread, cheese melted on the braai... Absolutely delicious! Living a low-carb or Banting lifestyle doesn't mean you have to miss out on these traditional South African delights. Instead, we've created a Braai Broodjie using wholesome HEBA - tasty and healthy!
HEBA Crispy Crumbed Chicken and Chips
Yes, we're talking crispy, crunching, delicious fried chicken! All done the Banting way, of course. And everyone knows you can't have fried chicken without fried chips. Yup! We've got those covered too. This is HEBA in it's greatest form: versatile and nutritious but just as delicious. Low-carb never tasted this good!
HEBA Bunny Chow with Vegetable Curry
Thought living low-carb means no more Bunny Chow? Think again! Enjoy your curry and bread the Banting way with our HEBA Bunny Chow recipe. We enjoy ours with a vegetable curry but you can fill your crispy HEBA loaf with your favourite family curry. Just be sure to include low-carb veggies - best to skip the potatoes!
HEBA Boerewors and Chakalaka
Wors, pap and chakalaka is a classic South African dish! We've taken this old favourite and created a Banting version that can be enjoyed at braais, for dinner or use the chakalaka as a spicy addition to any dish. HEBA has been used instead of maize meal for a low-carb, nutrient rich pap. Traditional Boerewors is great for low carb eating. And chakalaka, a spicy vegetable relish, can also be served with curries and stews.
